The wise and loving grandfather to Aris and Ara, Aki has lived in the village all his life. Aki spends his time farming and working his plantation, if not he'll be busy finishing his latest painting or just cycling around the paddy fields and enjoying the serene atmosphere. Aki is an intelligent and independent man who holds on dearly to his principles. He is almost seventy years old, but doesn't look a day over fifty. His 'good looks' are due to his active lifestyle and healthy diet. However, he has the tendency to forget his facts when telling an exciting story. Most people, however, wouldn't know this side of him as they are too intimidated by his fierce looks! But in reality, Aki is a very warm and loving grandfather who cherishes every moment he has with his grandchildren. He loves telling them stories of wisdom, hoping that they will grow up to be good people. Aki's normal attire consists of a white t-shirt and long black pants and a songkok. He dons a pair of spectacles and has a very cute little patch of white beard.
